Winters, California is a historic town halfway between Sacramento and Napa. The town is known for a few landmark restaurants, being a farming and wine community, and is very bike friendly.
The scope of the project on our included crafting a new logo and brand, completely overhauling their current website to house both Winters related information, events, and a business directory.
The new brand is tied to the small farming town feel, as well as the celebrated heritage of the town, which was founded in 1875. The goal was to make the brand feel fresh and authentic, while also embracing the history and agricultural ties of the community.
The new website is a effort by both the City of Winters and the Winters Chamber of Commerce to showcase everything that the growing town offers. It was a pleasure working with the folks in Winters to redefine their web presence and brand image!
The website is bright, fun, and entices viewers with photography and up-to-date information on events, businesses, and suggestions on things to do in town. One feature we made allowed individual businesses to update their own respective pages utilizing their instagram account — which makes updating on their own super easy, and also gives website visitors fresh content daily.
The graphic assets, including patterns, icons, symbols, various logo styles, and fun items like the cityscape, can easily translate to various products, apparel, and merchandise. We are happy that the town happily embraced their new style!
